data Linker
Datalinker provides users an easy to use interface with tools that allow you to bring in any external company and project data into a full co-ordinated and collaborated model. With compatibility to XLS, MDB or ODBC Data Sources, companies can now further extend the amount information included in a BIM Model inside of Autodesk Navisworks. The external information and properties are then displayed in a user defined properties tab, which sits within the Navisworks interface. All fields within this properties tab are re-writable which provides the option to re-save or export back to the original data source.
colour Code Reporting
Colour Code reporting allows segmentation and grouping of items within a model, based on feedback from construction professionals. The Colour Code tool set links the Navisworks model to an external data source (XLS, MDB and ODBC Data Source), and determine the variables that are to be used for the colour coding based on feedback required from external parties (e.g Construction Progress, Material delivery status, etc.). Once this feedback is received and run against the model, these variables are grouped and displayed on a predefined legend. Reports can be extracted from these grouped items to pass on to the relevant stake holders.

customisable Reports
iConstruct provides users with the ability to produce professional reports for distribution to other stakeholders on the project. With ability to customise reports with headers, logos and text display (e.g. Company contact details), users can produce the following reports:
Viewpoint Reports - from viewpoints created inside of Autodesk Navisworks including comments attached to these viewpoints.
Clash point Reports - from clash results generated in Autodesk Navisworks Manage, users can produce their customised reports from these results in any version of Autodesk Navisworks, as long as the model has been saved after the clash test in Autodesk Navisworks Manage. Users can also customise the properties displayed of the clashing elements.
Data Reports - users can predefine report templates to determine the property information to be included in these reports, and the report output ( PDF, XLS, MDB and ODBC ). These reports can be produced from items selected, selection sets and search sets.
automated File Linking
With the ability to automatically link files to the Navisworks model, users can quickly recover and locate files where and when needed. With the large range of supported formats for automated linking, this could include any information relevant to a selected item from detailed sheet sets to maintenance and installation procedures.

instant Calculations
By creating custom calculation templates, users can get accurate totals on the fly from selected items within a Navisworks models. Calculation templates will read the relevant data that has been embedded into the properties of selected items and apply a predefined formula to give accurate and relevant totals. These totals can then be copied and inserted into relevant documentation, emails etc.

standardised Properties
With many data sources and varying design platforms used on different aspects of a project, iConstruct allows users to standardise and filter the data from all these sources to be displayed in a simplified and user defined properties tab within Navisworks. This can assist companies with reducing confusion when attempting to collate and extract data from a model, and provide them with information that is relevant, accurate and controlled.
info Bins
iConstruct allows construction professionals to assign InfoBins (folders) to selection or search sets within a model inside of Autodesk Navisworks. This provides an effective of allowing users to group and organise relevant information against grouped items within a model. This information could be anything from construction documentation, invoices, installation procedure etc. and can be added to at any stage during the construction or design process. Once information bins have been assigned, these can quickly be recovered so users can retrieve the relevant data located within these folders.

CRC Validation
iConstruct's CRC Validation tool provides a safe check to make sure all the data brought in through iConstruct into their Navisworks Model is valid and has not been altered in anyway. This provides management with peace of mind in ensuring that the information that they use from iConstruct and Autodesk Navisworks is accurate and has not been tampered by other iConstruct or Navisworks users.

batch Append
Consultants and Design Professionals can now add additional data to selected items within a model without the need for linking to external databases. Once the value has been determined and the properties tab location, this data can be stamped across many selected items within the model and can be retrieved and viewed at any time.

match Properties Query
Autodesk Navisworks users can use iConstruct to set up templates to Match Properties based on different variables, so when users select an item with a model, they can quickly identify and highlight the other elements that have a similar relationship to that originally selected. This will allow user to query models and find other required items at a quicker speed and be able to get more accurate totals and reports.
