iConstruct 2013:  The Most Powerful BIM Tool Yet

iConstruct 2013 is now available and ready to deliver increased efficiency and quick results in an easy to use format. Featuring a range of new modules and options, iConstruct 2013 is more powerful than ever before, which means even greater project solutions and benefits. With support for Navisworks 2013, the latest iConstruct release offers the following key features:
 iConstruct 2012
ReviewTRACK:   Manage your viewpoints and comments from one centralized location while multiple users simultaneously share a model's viewpoints hierarchy and comments from remote sites across the internet via a data source.  Instantly re-build viewpoints with redline markups, comments plus as many custom fields as you want, limited only by your back-end database (supports Access, Excel, ODBC and a custom API for end-user datasources such as web services). ReviewTRACK fully integrates with iConstruct's leading Export View report engine.

Centre of Gravity:  A new tool for construction professionals allows an accurate Centre of Gravity to be calculated and displayed in the model for dimensioning using Navisworks redline markup tools and producing reports via iConstruct's Export View report engine. Given accurate geometry and nominating a mass property, this routine calculates the centre of gravity for estimation purposes prior to site work.

Custom Tables:  iConstruct now allows for custom tables to be inserted from within the Reporting Engine using a new custom control, saving time by being able to edit and preview the table within the reporting engine. Numeric formatting is now supported as well as nominating 'required' fields to remove redundant data from the display.

IFC Converter:  The new IFC converter uses data within the IFC file or from an external data source to preserve the group hierarchy when importing structural IFC models. Append custom data at time of writing from an external data source. Works with Tekla, BoCAD and any other CAD package.

Clash Results Manager:  Improve the efficiency of managing clash results with this tool that complements Navisworks Clash Detective to easily isolate clashes in particular sections of a model by clash status or level. Clashes can also be sorted by clash count, so objects with the highest clash counts can be investigated first. Finally the clash information can be exported to Excel or alternatively registered as a view with iConstruct ReviewTRACK for further management.

Revit Data Switchback:  Enable bi-directional communications with your Revit models by appending user data from a Navisworks model back into the native Revit model. Export your model to pass to subcontractors or other 3rd parties, have their data appended to the Navisworks model and then import back into Revit - useful for notes taken on site, hold notifications, clash management etc.
